We ate our first and last meal on the road trip in Barstow, CA. You can see how crowded In-N-Out was on a Friday afternoon. Probably a lot of people heading to Las Vegas for the weekend.

We stopped for a late dinner in Saint George, Utah. We happened upon Troy's BBQ, which had really good food. We walked in right at closing time. We wondered why there weren't many people there. Later we realized the time zone had changed.

We spent the night in Zion National Park in Utah, arriving at dusk. It was pretty warm, so we left the tent windows open. This is what I saw when I woke up the next morning:
