Journey up the Coast, July 2005

At the end of June, my friend Justin and I embarked on a three-day trip from Los Angeles to Portland.  We drove along the coast the whole way (as much as possible), following US Highway 101 and Highway 1. These web pages show some of the things we saw along the way.

We took the 101 from downtown Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo:
