Christmas Wish List 2002

Well, it's December 23rd, and I hadn't yet published my annual Christmas Wish List.  I felt obligated to write one so I decided to whip something up quickly. Then I realized that I didn't really want much this year. Except for maybe some books and computer stuff.  Also, I realized that it wasn't an annual list after all.  I did one in 1998 and in 1999, but I guess I didn't the last two years.

That said, here's a list of things I want for Christmas (except that I don't really, I'd probably just rather buy them myself):

  A Maxtor 120.0GB Hard Drive, 7200 RPM, $135

The ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 8500DV. A video card with a TV tuner, which makes digitally editing videos easier.

I feel a little like a kid when I say the name of the video card, like a kid asking for some fancy toy named the "XRP Gorboz Super-Cool QX-5000R Robot" or something.

Books

I always like books.  My Amazon.com Wish List is fairly up-to-date. Just go to their main page, then click on Wish List at the top, and you can search for my name in a box on the right.

New Computer

Actually, instead of the hard drive and the video card listed above, I'd rather have a newer, faster computer with those things inside.  At least 1.8GHz, 512MB of RAM, and 80GB of hard drive space, with Windows XP.

Electric Blanket

It gets "cold" in our house during the winter, or at least "cold" by California standards. Our house has no insulation.

Of course, my first wish is for peace and good will for all the children of the earth. All the above is just secondary. Of course.
